Merrylands Central Library, Holroyd City Council Library Service
The Holroyd City Council Local Studies
collection is a special collection located in the Tony Maston Room, at
Merrylands Central Library.
The collection contains material
relating to the historic, geographic, economic and social development of the
Holroyd Local Government Area.
There is also a Family History
collection, with guides on researching, recording and preserving family
histories and access to records for individuals in Australia and overseas.

directories, NSW Government Gazettes, NSW Police Gazettes and biographies

· 3 Public computers (2 hour sessions)
· 1 Microform scanner (can save files to
USB or print)
· 1 Microform reader
· 1 Flatbed scanner
· Printing available from all computers
and scanners
Donations
You can help by sending Holroyd City
Council Library Service copies of material relating to the Holroyd Local
Government area to be included in the Local Studies Collection.
The Library is particularly interested
in printed material (publications, newsletters, maps, posters, flyers and
pamphlets) or photographs.
The Library Service does not need to
keep the original document or photograph, the original can be copied for our collection
and returned to you.
